What to expect at your appointment
Initial consult (1 hour)
During your first visit, Dr. Bri will sit down with you and discuss what you would like to learn.
In this initial session Dr. Bri will ask a variety of questions to better understand your current lifestyle, eating habits and nutritional needs. From there Dr. Bri will work with you to create reasonable goals individualized to you and education to guide you in the right direction.
Follow up (30 minutes)
Usually more than one session is needed with Dr. Bri to motivate you and keep you on track. With any plan it is important to check in and re-assess and tweak the previous goals or add new ones. With each session further learning is expected and discussion about what has been easier to modify and what has been more challenging.

Chronic Inflammation
Are you someone who feels like they are always in pain or always tired? Have you tried multiple form of therapies with no lasting results? While there are many condition that can cause these symptoms, chronic inflammation is definitely at the forefront. It has now been well documented that certain foods can increase inflammation in our body and often simply modifying or eliminating them from our diet cause significantly resolve our symptoms. Food Allergies & Intolerances
Food allergies and intolerances can be stressful and making sure you avoid the things that could cause a reaction is important!
A food allergy is an anaphylactic reaction caused by the protein of a specific food. The most common food allergies are eggs, dairy, soy, fish, nuts, sesame and wheat.
A food intolerance is when your body is unable to digest a specific food, resulting in rather undesirable short term digestive problems.
Dr. Bri can work with you to understand what foods to avoid, how to cook and how to prevent reactions from happening. Being more confident with food choices and having less stress when eating out!
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
IBS is a gut disorder, symptoms include bloating, abdominal pain and gas.
It is described as having 2 of the three symptoms listed below at least one day a week for the past three months:
- Improvement of symptoms after having a bowel movement
- Onset of symptoms associated with a change in frequency
- Onset of symptoms associated with a change in form/appearance of stools.
Cause of IBS is still not fully understood, it could be a mix of stress, gut immune system, gut microbiome or how food is digested and moves through your gut.

Do I need a referral for Naturopathic services
We do not require a referral to accept you as a patient for Natuopathic services. Pleases check with your private insurance plan as most plan now cover our services and can be direct billed to some companies.
